Day 27

Image
I think I'm kidding myself about updating this blog every day.  Right now I am going to re-focus and try for a more realistic update of each weekend.  That way I can post anything that I have done the previous week. In the meantime, today I submitted my tile for the "It's a String Thing" #77 on the Tickled to Tangle blog by Adele Bruno, CZT. Please check out her link either by clicking on the link on the right border of my blog, or click  HERE We were to use String #077 by Barbara Finwall, and any or all of the following tangles:  Heartrope by Bunny Wright Heartstrings by Helen Williams Heartvine by Lori Howe Luv-a by CZT Sharon Coforio Thanks for stopping by!  I hope to see you this weekend when I update with the rest of this week's tiles and tangles.

Day 25

Did I forget Day 24, not really.  I started it but was unable to finish due to unforeseen circumstances. If I finish it this week I will post it here.   In the meantime, here is this week's submission to SuzyMosh's 'That's new to me', which you can visit  HERE   This week's random letter is "U" so I picked Undling, and used a border of eez. Thanks for stopping by!

Day 21 thru 23

Day 21 in my calendar, I used string #21 (of course) and we were to use the Zentangles Rick's Paradox and B'Tweed. Here is what I came up with, using 2 different versions of B'Tweed. Day 22 had us using Tagh and Tat And Day 23 had us using Kathy's Dilemma and a Tangleation of the Zentangle Flux. A Tangleation is a variation of a pattern. Thanks!  I hope to see you again soon.

Day 20

This is one of the tiles I made for day 20. This is my submission to SuzyMosh's "That's New to Me" challenge. This week we were given the letter "V". I chose Vigne for the border, and Verve to fill the heart. And this is day 20 from my tangle*a*day calendar. On this day we were to use Jetties, Sampson, and 'Nzepple. More soon.

Day 19

Today the Diva announced the winners of the contest that was part of the 200th challenge celebration. I was in shock when I got an email from her yesterday that I was one of the winners!!!  I am so excited.  I rarely win anything, and to win a contest with a Diva challenge... a Zentangle challenge... well I just can't believe it.  You can see more of the challenge (over 200 participants!) please visit her website at  I am the Diva blog Challenge 201, this weeks challenge is to design a tile using the Moebius Syndrome Foundation's logo as our string in honor of Moebius Syndrome awareness. This is mine: And this is Day 19 from my tangle*a*day calendar, using the patterns Beeline, Cubine, and Rain. Thank you to all who stop by, and to those who leave comments. The comments are very encouraging and help keep me motivated.

Days 13 thru 18

Well, I didn't do a good job of keeping up this week, did I!  Let's hope that I can do a better job in the future.  Having never done a blog before, I didn't have a clue what to do. And because it is so new, it's not something that used to be part of my daily routine, so I'm still at the point where I need to find/make time to update it. I did have something very exciting happen.  I got an email today from The DIVA!  I won a surprise for participating in her 200th weekly challenge! It is rare that I win anything. In fact I'd be hard pressed to tell you what I've ever won, or when. I'm very excited!! I'll let you know what the surprise is once I know. In the meantime, here are a few of the things I've been working on this week Day 13 This was for Day 13 in my calendar, and also my entry into the Tickled to Tangle "It's a String Thing" #75.  The patterns we were given for this week were Bales, Echoism, Ennies, and Poke...

Day 12

Today many of us are celebrating the Bi-Zen-tennial, the 200th Weekly Challenge by the DIVA. You can see here website at  The Diva . Here is our challenge: This week's challenge is to use your Mac'N'Cheese tangle in a Monotangle. Or in other words, create a tile using ONLY your go-to or favourite tangle. And let's take advantage of the WHOLE tile! No borders! Let's extend from end to end and fill our tiles BURSTING with Tangly JOY! And finally - put the number 200 (big or small) somewhere on your tile. I chose 'Nzeppel..not because it's my go-to tangle, but it's a wonderful new tangle that I learned last week, and it just might end up being one of my go-to tangles in the future! Thanks for stopping by! Check back tomorrow for more.
