Did I forget Day 24, not really.  I started it but was unable to finish due to unforeseen circumstances. If I finish it this week I will post it here.   In the meantime, here is this week's submission to SuzyMosh's 'That's new to me', which you can visit HERE  This week's random letter is "U" so I picked Undling, and used a border of eez.

MY TANGLED LIFE

January 1, 2015 HAPPY NEW YEAR This was that last tile I made for 2014. It kind of reminded me of fireworks. Rick and Maria started  Zentangle.   To learn about the  Zentangle Method please visit their website: Zentangle I am not a CZT (Certified Zentangle Teacher), just someone who really enjoys the entire Zentangle experience.  I have to admit, though, that I have a dream of attending a CZT Seminar. It's not because I hope to teach, although I would love to volunteer to teach some children, or seniors, or... But I think the experience of a CZT Seminar would be a once in a lifetime event that I would never forget!  My birthday is June 21, and this year they have a Seminar that runs from June 21 -24.  I hoping that I can come up with ideas to raise the money to attend! Day Four

The first thing that I completed today was a tile for the new "It''s New to Me" challenge by SuzyMosh Creations . Today's change was to do a TIA with a "new to you" tangle starting with the letter "T".  So I went to Linda's TanglePatterns.com and when I went on the "T" page there was only 1 or 2 that I was at all familiar with. I chose 2 for my tile. The border is done with Trimond by Beth Snoderly, and in the center is Tootle by Jennifer Hohensteiner. The second thing I completed was making a new cabinet for the jewelry I make, but that's a story for a different blog.. LOL.  The next thing that I completed in the way of Zentangle goes what Day Four of the six week course. In keeping with the previous day, I used string #004 and the three daily tangles were Shattuck, Nipa, and Jonqual. Thanks for stopping by. Please leave a comment.

Well, I certainly haven't kept up with my blog.  In my own defense, I have been busy. Unfortunately some of it is not so good. The problems with my spine have continued to degrade. My Primary Care Dr. sent me for some x-rays. The results from the x-ray had my Pain Specialist Dr. send me for a myelogram and a CT scan. This picture is from the myelogram. This is the needle and the dye going into my spinal canal. See how the die gets brighter towards the bottom? That's because the dye is stopping there. The blockage is so severe, they couldn't even get the die to go down any further. From my myelogram and ct scan. This one shows comparison of the space between some of the other lumbar vertebrae, in comparison to the space (or rather lack of) between L4 and L5.  See how the one vertebrae has slipped forward from the one underneath it? Keto Challenge Catch-up Days

I REALLY need to work harder to get here to update every day, or at least every other day.  It's harder with each passing day to get caught up. Let me start by telling you about Friday, June 2.  My husband met me when I got off work, as did my oldest children's grandmother, my "mom".  We then headed to my youngest grandson's high school graduation.  The only thing I can tell you about Friday is the day at work was hectic and the evening was full of excitement and, of course, tears. I can't remember exactly what I had to eat that day, but I can tell you my husband and I tried to stick with foods that are allowed on my Keto challenge. Saturday lunch I made a Keto pizza.  OH MY!!! It was so surprisingly good! I was blown away.  Seriously, I felt like I was cheating even though this recipe was right of the challenge itself!  I think that is what has surprised me the most.
